FOR A HAPPIER LIFE

SOCIAL IMPACT
TRAVINA is committed to giving its best to bring positive value to the community and to society. For us, the journey of happiness starts with the farmer in the growing area, continues with the worker in the factory and ends with the consumer.

RAISING FARMERS KNOWLEDGE AND GROWING TECHNIQUES

To build growing areas that follow Six No practices, TRAVINA regularly runs technical training courses before and during each crop and monitors the fields so farmers get support in time. After the training, farmers gradually move from chemical fertiliser and pesticide to composted manure and biological pest control.

PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT AND CONSERVING THE TEA PLANT
Farming to our Six No commitment helps protect the soil, the water and the air. Growing and keeping native tea varieties also helps preserve biodiversity.

Our tea is made from Six No raw material and processed on a modern, closed production line, so it protects the health of the consumer.

CREATING JOBS FOR RURAL WOMEN.

Besides creating livelihoods and a stable income for the ethnic minority tea-growing households in our growing areas, TRAVINA also employs women from those same areas who lost their work to urbanisation. Many of TRAVINA workers are women with a stable income of 6-8 million VND a month.

1. Creating Sustainable Livelihoods For Ethnic Minority Households

TRAVINA develops its growing areas in Dai Tu and La Bang, where many ethnic minority households live, and signs purchase contracts with them so their income stays stable. We support families in moving to higher-value, Six No cultivation, which we buy at a better price than conventional tea and which raises their income.

2. Raising Farmers Knowledge And Growing Techniques

To build growing areas that follow Six No practices, TRAVINA regularly runs technical training courses before and during each crop and monitors the fields so farmers get support in time. After the training, farmers gradually move to organic fertiliser, biological pest control and properly composted manure.
