From 8 to 10 October 2026, Travina brought a piece of the La Bang – Dai Tu tea region to Tea Show Hanoi 2026, held alongside Cafe Show at Hall 2 of the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC). Our booth at the central entrance of Hall 2 offered free tastings, live hand-roasting by our tea artisan and the full range of our Thai Nguyen green teas.

About Tea Show Hanoi 2026
According to the organizers and Vietnamese press, the 2026 edition gathered around 250 booths and more than 400 brands from 20 countries, with over 30,000 trade visitors expected. The show was organized by EXPORUM with the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association and the Vietnam Tea Association, under the tea theme “Fill Your Cup with Stillness”. It also hosted Tea Masters Cup Vietnam 2026.
Hand-roasting, live at the booth
Our roasting pan was run by tea artisan Pham Hoang Giang, Head of Production at the cooperative. In December 2025 he roasted for Team No. 08, representing La Bang commune, which won Second Prize at the provincial Golden Hands Tea Processing Contest 2025. The same year he competed in Tea Masters Cup Vietnam 2025. Visitors watched each step: picking one bud and two leaves, withering, pan-firing in cast iron, rolling, drying and the final aroma roast.

What buyers tasted
We served our core Thai Nguyen range: Trà Nõn, Trà Móc Câu, Trà Sạch 6 Không and Hồng Trà Núi Cốc, which we also served as milk tea. “6 Không” (six “no”s) is our own production commitment with partner farming households: no chemicals, no pesticides, no chemical fertiliser, no colouring, no bleaching and no preservatives. It is not an organic certification, and we say so clearly to every buyer.

Visitors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and Russia stopped by. The most common comment was that Thai Nguyen tea tastes bold and fresh compared with the bagged tea they usually drink.

Vietnamese tea, Vietnamese snacks
Together with Bang An, a traditional confectionery workshop in Thach That, Hanoi, we paired our tea with local snacks such as peanut candy and mung bean cake. Many Western booths paired tea with pastries; we showed how Vietnamese tea is traditionally served at home.
