The pot is usually already on when someone walks in. Whatever the enquiry, it starts with a cup.

What to put in your first message

The more of this you can tell us, the fewer emails it takes to get you a price. If you do not know an answer yet, say so — we will work with what you have.

    • Which tea and which grade. If you are not sure, describe the cup you want and we will suggest one from our range.
    • How much, per grade. Kilograms per shipment, and roughly how often you would reorder.
    • Where it is going. Destination country and port or city — that decides which documents your entry needs.
    • How you want it packed. Bulk foil-lined cartons, finished retail packs, or your own brand on our tea.
    • Which certificates or test parameters your buyer asks for. Everything we already hold is listed on our certificates page; if your list goes further, send it and we will quote the extra testing.
    • Your timeline. Tea is seasonal here. Picking runs March to October, and from November the bushes are pruned back, so a January order and a May order are not the same conversation.

    What happens after you write

    1. A person reads it. Enquiries come to the cooperative, not to an agent. We reply to every one, usually within one working day.
    2. A straight answer on feasibility. If your specification is outside what we can supply, you will hear that in the first reply rather than three emails later.
    3. Samples. We send 100 g of each grade you want to taste. Tell us the address or your courier account and we will agree the cost with you before anything ships.
    4. A quotation against your volume, your packing and the incoterm you work to. We do not publish a price list because grade, packing and season move the number too much for one to be honest.

    Order sizes we can handle

From a few tens of kilograms up to container volumes. We farm 40.5 hectares with 90 member households and process in batches of roughly ten tonnes of dry tea a month during the season, so small trial orders and repeat wholesale volumes both fit — tell us the number you have in mind and we will say plainly whether we can meet it.

Most of what we ship abroad today moves as consolidated shipments and cross-border e-commerce rather than in our own containers. That is the honest picture, and it is changing; if you need a full container programme, say so and we will tell you what it would take on our side.

    Rather come and look first?

You are welcome at the gardens and the factory, in picking season when there is something to watch and outside it when there is time to talk. There is no charge and the tea is on us. The visit page explains how a day is arranged, and the origin and factory page shows the layout you would walk through.
