TRAVINA is the export brand of Tam Tra Viet Cooperative in Thai Nguyen. Ninety member households farm 40.5 hectares across Dai Tu and La Bang. Every leaf is picked by hand, and every batch is processed at the cooperative’s own facilities.
Using and caring for it
Before the first use, pour hot water over the piece inside and out and rinse it with clean water. After each use rinse with hot water only – no detergent, no dishwasher; over time the piece takes on a quiet sheen. Store it somewhere dry and airy. With zisha clay it is worth keeping one pot for one kind of tea rather than mixing.
